Loss prevention professionals from around the country are about to gather at NRF Protect in Philadelphia to meet, learn and discuss the latest strategies and technologies the industry has to offer. The three things that have me most excited about the event are:
Learning more about what’s on the mind of loss prevention teams
Loss prevention has to juggle many priorities to protect company assets. At Balance Innovations, we’ve got a lot to offer LP teams to make investigating currency management exceptions easier and more efficient, but I’m eager to learn more about the other areas of loss that concern them, like cyber threats, organized retail crime and digital retail crime.
Checking out all the other loss prevention technologies
There are a lot of tools out there that can assist loss prevention teams in stamping out errors and fraud. I want to learn more about how those solutions can interact with ours to provide LP professionals with even more information to resolve fraud quickly. Our platform aggregates and presents the data from all kinds of devices, and we’re always looking for good partners to add to the list.
Hearing from retailers and industry experts in the sessions
I’m particularly interested in Houston, We Have a Problem to hear more about how retailers can work to ward off credit breaches and other cyber threats. Survey Says! 2015 Shrink Data Results looks like it will provide valuable insights into the latest industry benchmarks on shoplifting, employee and vendor theft, and administrative error.
And, of course, as a baseball fan I’m looking forward to the opportunity for a photo with the hit king, Pete Rose. I also plan to cast my vote on the most common debate in the City of Brotherly Love, the battle over the best cheesesteak in the country, Geno’s or Pat’s.
Will you be at NRF Protect? If you will, be sure to stop by and see us in Booth 821. You’ll be able to enter to win a pair of Bose headphones and see the latest solutions we have to help you identify, track and resolve exceptions and fraud faster.
